Chipco Signature

Chipco Signature comes with a patented ‘Stressgard’ that improves turf quality and inhibits fungal growth and development in several ways. First, it helps turf to “self-manage” its stresses, through a complex series of actions. Second, it stimulates the production of phytoalexins, which are “natural pesticides” produced by the plant. Then, Signature increases the carbohydrates found in the plant tissue. This helps the turfgrass to better survive periods of stress. Finally, Signature stimulates the production of mycorrhizae, which improve the plant’s growth and health.
Applying multiple Signature tankmixes prior to the onset of turf stress effectively protects turf from stresses associated with Summer Decline, such as high heat and humidity, increased traffic and low mowing heights, and diseases. As a result, turf quality, which is measured in terms of color, vigor, uniformity, playability and disease control, is also improved.
